Kick-off Event - Wednesday, May 1
Let’s get this started!   6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m., LTD Next Stop Center -Join us for an all-day event and get ready for the Business Commute Challenge (BCC)! Stop by  and pick up your Team Captain Kit and supplies, enjoy refreshments and snacks, get ideas, and get pumped!

  • This year, everything is just “ducky” at the BCC. “Pick a Duck” and win a prize . . . quack, quack!    
  • 11:30 - 1:00  Enjoy a honey cookie provided by local cookbook author and cooking teacher Marie Simmons, and enter a special prize drawing for her hot-off-the press "Taste of Honey" Cookbook!
  • 11:30 - 1:15 Five-minute massages for your well-being provided by Myrna Folk Mobile Massage. Ahhh.
  • Bring your coffee cup, get a Ticket-to-Win-It, and sign the BCC Banner.

BCC Commute Fashion Show - Tuesday, May 7
Start your day with breakfast and a visit from the Paparazzi! 7 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at the South Willamette River Path at Campbell Center -  155 High St. While enjoying your commute on the River Path, stop by the BCC Fashion Show and step onto the red carpet! Have your picture taken by the Papparazzi and show off your commute “style.” Your picture will be e-mailed to you and shared on Facebook.  

  • Get a free bike tune-up by Kerri's Neighborhood Bike Shop
  • Stop by and enter a special prize drawing.
  • Bring your coffee cup, get a Ticket-to-Win-It, and sign the BCC Banner

Daily Prize Drawings
Anyone who logs a trip is eligible for the daily prize drawings!

 

 

Ticket-to-Win-It! 
Attend a BCC event and get a Ticket-to-Win-It to be entered into a prize drawing at the end of the event. The prize this year is $100 to Lane County Farmer's Market!  WOW!
 

Weekend Warriors
You rock!  Prize drawings will be held on Monday for participants who worked and logged miles on Saturday or Sunday. Salute!
 

 

 
 
B1 with BCC Bingo!
Play BCC Bingo! Complete the squares in a diagonal or straight line, and you could win!  When you have a Bingo,either drop off your bingo card at any BCC event, send it by e-mail to bcc-info.org, or fax it to 541-682-6111. All Bingo cards are due by May 20 at 5 p.m.  
B-I-N-G-O = 5 winners!  Bingo cards are available  from your team captain, at BCC events, or by downloading the card from the BCC website (prize to be determined). One card per participant, please.
 

KEZI 9 News  Wake Up and Win!
The Week of the Challenge - KEZI 9 News is offering a Business Commute Challenge Prize Pack Giveaway during the Wake Up and Win segment of the news each day of the Business Commute Challenge.  Watch the morning KEZI 9 News for a chance to call in and win a prize!
 
 
Click and Walk Day -  Monday, May 13
For the Walkers - BCC Poker Walkabout  - Open 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., LTD Next Stop Center, 1099 Olive Street  Sign-up for the annual BCC Poker Walkabout!  Do you like to play poker, like to eat, and like to get exercise? Then this is the event for you!  The Poker Walkabout is open for two hours, so stop by, grab some lunch, visit “Stops” on the map, collect playing cards, and meet back at the LTD Next Stop Center. The best hand wins! The average time to complete the walk is 30 minutes. (We encourage you to wear any BCC paraphernalia you have buttons, t-shirts, bags.) The top three poker hands receive a prize! Prizes are: 1st Place - a $50 gift certificate to Footloose Massage Center, 2nd Place - $30 to The Barn Light, and 3rd Place is $20 of Unique Eugene Gift Certificates!

For the Clickers - There is a Slipper Picture Contest!  Do you enjoy working from home in your slippers? It’s EASY to enter. Just e-mail a picture of your favorite slippers during the week of the Challenge to BCC-info@ltd.org! Your picture will be posted on the BCC Facebook page and you will be entered into a drawing at the end of the week (prize to be determined).

Bike Day - Tuesday, May 14
Breakfast at the Bridges - 7 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.   Enjoy a refreshing morning ride along the Willamette River bike path and stop at the DeFazio Bridge for some morning refreshments and a free bike tune-up!

Transit Day - Wednesday, May 15 - TWO Events
Breakfast at the Station!   6:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. - LTD Next Stop Center, 1099 Olive Street - Have a break between buses? Coming downtown on your commute?  Stop by the Next Stop Center and enjoy some piping hot coffee, breakfast treats, and fruit from the Organically Grown Company.

Drive the Big Rig Contest Winners (Early Registration)
12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Team Captains: Have you ever watched an LTD bus go by and thought, “Wow! I wish I could drive a big rig like that!”  Well, now you can have a chance!  Register your team by April 19 and you will be entered into a drawing to win!  Two teams will  have a chance to win. Bring your CEO and 10 of your teammates to ride along as you drive a bus through a course at the LTD Glenwood facility. Lunch will be provided. What fun!

Carpool Day - Thursday, May 16
Jump into the “pool” on Carpool Day with Drive Less Connect! 
3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.  - Stop by the Springfield Station Park & Ride (look for the white tent in the east parking lot) at 355 S. "A" St. and enjoy some afternoon treats and mini burritos. Learn more about the Drive Less Connect ridesharing website!

Bike Day - Friday, May 17
Wheels by the Willamette - 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. - It’s National Bike to Work Day! What better way to celebrate than to take a ride on the Springfield Bike Path ( Aspen & D Streets), enjoy some refreshments and treats, and get a free bike tune-up?

Celebration at the Atrium - 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.  - It’s time to celebrate the Heros who biked, walked, carpooled, bused, and clicked to work!  Come by the Eugene Atrium Building at 99 W. 10th Avenue to see who won, to pick-up prizes, and to enjoy some treats. Join the celebration!
